The first thing I had to do was make a name. My group decided on Quarantine Killer. The movie is about a virus that causes individuals to destroy each other. But people think it's a human who's killing people. This film will be based on Norovirus, a virus. This will be found later by a group of scientists. There is, hopefully, a cure. During the film pitch, I had to research what company I wanted to promote my film to. A production that I picked was BlumHouse Production. Blumhouse Productions because they are known for their Halloween series and their low-budget movies are also known. Our film is associated with other films made by this company since our film is a slasher horror film.
To Distribute
Our film will be shown on Cable, DVD, Blu-ray, and in theaters. We are planning to distribute our film through smaller film companies or streaming services. We will make several trailers and advertise our film on the radios to pursue distribution of our film. We will be pursuing a festival circuit distribution because the festival circuit helps us to add more advertising to our film.
Audience
Our film should appeal to its audience and make them feel like they can relate to what the film says, being quarantined, and all.
For our budget, we just going to work on a small one.

The final project will be a video titled
Quarantine Killer. This project will be about a murderer who goes after
quarantined people. With the terms of the AICE Media Studies syllabus, This
project will fall under the Portfolio of Component 1: Foundation. It will meet
Evaluation Objectives 2, 3, and 4. For
doing research, I want to use the
internet and also use producers of horror genre scripts. Reading many scripts
and doing a lot of film analyses will allow me to have a better undertaking of
the horror(slasher) genre. Also watching
many horror movies, to see how much they have changed.
Because this is a group project, I will also work with Catalina Cardona and Demitry Louine.

Lionsgate is renowned for film production and distribution. While the company tends to concentrate more on the distribution and production of action and dramas as well as franchises such as "The Hunger Games" its history has demonstrated a commitment to quality horror properties. Although Lionsgate itself may not specialize in horror movies, it has helped to bring to the masses some great cult classics, cinematic shows, and hair-raising franchises. Massive gore and violence have been included in the company's more popular projects, making it a staple of modern body horror, and while some of these films have seen limited critical praise, audiences love them
Movies they made
- American Psycho (2000)
- High Tension (2003)
- Scary Stories to Tell In The Dark (2019)

The opening sequences for all movies are where the filmmakers try not to reveal too much information and also putting the name of the production and cast members. For horror movies, all have the same concepts. Concepts like dark, scary font, and color scheme.
For example Halloween(1976) and Insidous(2006)

The Opening Credits is showing the people that helped with the film. For example, the opening credits could have the actor, editors, and director. The title sequence and the opening credits might look the same but the title sequence is at the end and it might be a long list of people who worked on the film. On the opening, they used different types of fonts and backgrounds. They use this to settle a theme into the film. The techniques that could be used are animated or having 3D images. For example the film " Suicide Squad" they used an animated mage for their opening credits.
In the clip here they showed how they announced their actors. They used symbols of there character next to the actor name, Then named that help with the film like Director and Editor
